Gunsmith’s 1911

Custom built 1911 from the ground up for optimal performance, ergonomics and all around badassary!

I started by building it to the legendary and rigid USMC PWS 2112 MEUSOC/M45 build procedures and then went even further with all internal mating surfaces honed and polished for an unbelievable smooth cycling action. I also tightened the lockup slightly for improved accuracy and tuned the trigger to a crisp 3lb pull.

Externally I did a wrap around hand checkering on the frame, MSH and the grip safety. To match I did the mag release, recoil plug and utilized the aggressive VZ G10 golf ball pattern grips for positive retention even in wet conditions.

Aesthetically I went with custom serrations and slide cuts to be paired with my flush cut package for distinct professional appearance that also performs lights out all day everyday!
