M40 Inspired .270 Hunter

This rifle project was built for the modern day marksman and the specs are influenced by the legendary USMC M40 series to include action blueprinting, bolt lapped to the receiver, hand lapped bore, rebuilt trigger group, along with a full pillar bed in a B&C M40 series stock.

…and yes this rifle is a shooter, accuracy group testing along with first stage of load development yielded .393-.590 MOA at 300 yards. After finalizing load development I guarantee this is a sub 1/2 MOA or better rifle.
