Custom Colt 1911 .45ACP

Rebuilt this old worn out Colt by utilizing the existing frame/slide but with some attitude.

Machined in matching front cocking serrations, upgraded to a modern sight dovetail, installed a Dawson light rail to the frame, checkered the front strap and installed/blended a flared magwell.

Additionally, a Kart NM barrel is fitted to a tactical match setup along with an O/S bushing, link and slide stop pin. Upgraded the hammer/ignition system with C&S and tuned it to a short roll 3.5lb pull. Modified the frame for a .250 radius and upgraded the grip and thumb the safeties.

Not quite done there, fitted and installed an extended mag catch/release, upgraded to combat sights, and paired the frame with VZ OP II grip panels.

Reborn from the ashes, this 1911 lives to fight again!
