Colt Combat Commander 1911

Performed a full rebuild on this old Colt. Started by peening the frame rails and re-lapping the slide to the frame for a tighter fitment. Next up was upgrading the sights with a Heinie Specialty ledge rear and gold bead front sight. Also machined in front strap checkering and paired it with a checkered MSH and VZ Grips Alien slim line grips in ivory.

Replaced/upgraded the internals and controls during the rebuild with parts from Evolution Gun Works and 108 Performance along with spicing up the ignition with a Nowlin Arms ring hammer and complete upgrade/tuning of the system for a short roll 3.5lb trigger. Topped of the rebuild with a black TiN nitride finish.
