Colt Gold Cup Full Rebuild

This project began as a beat up old Colt that had seen heavy use, some of which is still evident by the scars left behind. A full rebuild encompassed a replacement of the barrel assembly with a Kart Precision barrel, tuned to a tactical match setup. Peened Frame rails along with hand lapping in the slide and a complete internal hone. The exterior was blended, cosmetic clean up of rough areas and a medium corner radius on the edges.

Mechanically all the springs, pins, and critical components are replaced along with the ignition that features a ring hammer.

Finishing touches are not complete without a Heinie gold dot front sight and ivory grips paired with a fresh park/blue finish.
