VP MEUSOC V2 1911 45ACP

Built on a US Army 1911A1 frame and a Springfield Armory GI slide. The frame rails were peened along with hand lapping the slide for improved fitment. A BarSto Precision barrel, MEUSOC millet front sight, and a NM rear sight for the traditional combat pistol. The frame half features factory original Kings ambi safety, original Clark grip safety, Pachmayr combat grips, and a Videki trigger. Additionally, a ring hammer ignition system, new pins, springs, and internal hardware all replaced with modern components emulating traditional appearances. Lastly, this MEUSOC V2 project is topped off with traditional bluing on the carbon steel and black DLC on the stainless (hammer, barrel, &bushing), received the traditional stamping and is well lubricated with some Gunbutter.
