1. Warranty Coverage
Valor Precision, LLC stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of our custom firearms, offering the following limited warranties:
- Full Builds (New Firearms): A transferable limited lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the firearm, defined as the operational life of the original frame and slide, effective from the date of project completion. This warranty applies to the original owner and subsequent owners upon proper transfer registration.
- Rebuilds (Refurbished or Upgraded Firearms): A non-transferable 1-year or 10,000-round warranty (whichever comes first) covers defects in materials and workmanship performed by Valor Precision, effective from the date of project completion.
2. Scope of Coverage
- The warranty covers repairs or replacements for defective components or workmanship by Valor Precision or our authorized third-party Federal Firearms License (FFL) vendors (used for refinishing or machining).
- It does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, damage from improper handling, storage, or ammunition.
- Issues arising from pre-existing conditions in rebuilt firearms.
- Wear items after specified round counts:
- Springs (e.g., recoil, magazine) after 5,000 rounds.
- Barrels after 30,000 rounds for accuracy or performance issues.
- Other wear components (e.g., firing pins, extractors, grips) after 10,000 rounds.
- For full builds, coverage for wear items ceases after 30,000 rounds, at which point the firearm typically requires a rebuild. Only defects in the frame and slide remain covered thereafter.
- For rebuilds, only components installed or services performed by Valor Precision are covered.
3. Round Count Tracking
- For both New builds and rebuilds, you must maintain a record of rounds fired and provide this upon filing a warranty claim.
- Valor Precision reserves the right to inspect the firearm to verify round count and usage. Lack of accurate records may result in claim denial.
4. Transferability (Full Builds Only)
- The limited lifetime warranty for full builds is transferable to subsequent owners, provided the new owner registers the transfer with Valor Precision within 30 days of ownership change. Contact support@valorprecision.com or (440) 554-5772 to register, providing the firearm’s serial number and proof of transfer (e.g., bill of sale).
- Failure to register voids the warranty for subsequent owners.
5. Claim Process
- To file a warranty claim, contact us at support@valorprecision.com or (440) 554-5772 within the warranty period, providing your project details, serial number, issue description, and round count records.
- We will evaluate the claim and, if approved, provide instructions for returning the firearm. Claims must be filed by the original owner (for rebuilds) or registered owner (for full builds).
6. Return Shipping
- Firearms returned for warranty service must be shipped through a licensed FFL dealer in compliance with ATF regulations and federal/state laws.
- You are responsible for shipping costs to Valor Precision, LLC; we will cover return shipping costs for approved warranty repairs.
7. Voidance
- Unauthorized alterations, repairs, or part replacements by you or another gunsmith will void the warranty.
- Work performed by our authorized third-party FFL vendors does not affect warranty coverage.
8. Limitations
- Repairs or replacements are the sole remedies under this warranty. Valor Precision, LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from warranty claims, to the extent permitted by law.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
